I am Varun Prabhakar, a 27 year old engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India. I completed my bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2003 and I now work in the Powertrain Group at Continental Corporation, in Auburn Hills, MI, USA (Continental recently acquired Siemens VDO Automotive where I used to work). Previously, I was an embedded engineer with the Automotive Engineering Group of Infosys Technologies Ltd.

My passions include biking, running, trekking, skiing, photography and have tried my luck at skydiving

My obsession in the last year has been to actively contribute towards restoring the rights of underprivileged children in India and the US. I am actively involved with a child rights organization called Child Rights & You (CRY) America .
